Under the new funding provided by Welsh Government, Aspire 2Be, in conjunction with Bridgend College, proposes a series of courses providing digital skills development relating to core cloud based solutions.  

The current pandemic has prompted a significant rise in the need for agile working, incorporating a digital skill set to seamlessly facilitate remote and blended working.  In addition to core skills development, our courses will target this opportunity to provide employees and employers with tools and best practice guidance on the use of digital tools to ensure business continuity.

G Suite for Education offers educators a huge amount of potential in redefining the traditional workflow of the classroom.  In this course, you will access a full overview of G Suite tools to help you develop your understanding of how to leverage the power of cloud based working for all aspects of teaching and learning.  

The course is jam packed with top tips and insight to help you get the most out of the solution and to transform your teaching and learning workflow.  As a cloud based service, G Suite can help with all aspects of teaching and learning from planning, to facilitation.

Blended Learning?  Remote Learning?  Distance Learning?  There are many terms for describing the way in which learning can be facilitated in and out of the classroom.  

This course focuses on Google Classroom and will demonstrate how you can structure your curriculum for learning anytime, anywhere.  From live lessons to pre recorded tutorials, including the scheduling of assignments and activities, Google Classroom will allow you to organise and manage your classroom workflow in a completely paperless way.  With the increased need for blended and remote learning, we will provide you with a deep dive into Classroom as a tool for outstanding teaching and learning.
