My name is Beth Evans and I’m a Learning Technologist here at Aspire 2Be. I am responsible for working closely with businesses and educators so they can improve, develop and transform their workflow through the use different technologies.
I support my colleagues in the delivery of Google, Apple and Microsoft coaching and work with a variety of corporate clients to develop contextual educational resources. As the Aspire 2Be resident sketchnoter you’ll likely find me with my iPad and Apple Pencil at the ready!
Before I joined Aspire 2Be I taught for nearly 8 years in Key Stage 2, and led ICT and the implementation of the Digital Skills Framework. I have a keen interest in the role of technology in the classroom and how it can be used to engage, excite and enthuse all learners.
My favourite part of the job is working closely with school teachers and leaders and seeing the amazing progress they make once they decide to embark upon their digital transformation. And also creating sketchnotes! A totally useless skill I have? I can pronounce the longest place name in the UK – Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwy
