Through a blend of technical instruction, real-world projects, and vendor-aligned content, learners will build foundational cloud skills, explore core services across major platforms and prepare for globally recognised certifications.

This Skills Bootcamp is ideal for adults seeking to enter or pivot into the cloud computing and infrastructure space. It’s suitable for those from both technical and non-technical backgrounds who have basic digital literacy and a strong interest in IT systems, platforms, and services.

What you'll achieve
Learners will complete the following qualifications:
- BCS Foundation Award in Cloud Computing – an introductory qualification that provides a comprehensive overview of cloud principles, deployment models, and service types.
Plus one of the following vendor certifications (based on learner pathway and career goals):
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner – ideal for those starting their cloud journey, providing a broad understanding of AWS services and cloud concepts.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals – covers cloud computing concepts, Azure services, security, privacy, and governance.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate – for learners looking to deepen their understanding of Azure-based infrastructure, identity, and networking (for advanced learners).

In addition to technical training, learners will receive comprehensive employability support designed to improve job readiness and support successful career transitions.
This includes:
- CV development tailored to specific job roles
- Interview techniques and preparation
- Guidance on reviewing and applying for live entry-level vacancies
- Interview simulations and confidence-building activities
- One-to-one careers coaching and personalised action planning
- Support with progression into further training, apprenticeships, or employment
- Employer engagement opportunities throughout the programme
All employability activities will be supported by a dedicated Employability Coach, working closely with learners to ensure they are prepared and confident.
