Aspire 2Be and Swansea University were nominated for the award for ‘Best Collaboration Between Universities and Employers’ for our collaborative work on the iBroadcast project. The iBroadcast project is an ongoing partnership, which also utilises the media skills of broadcaster Sean Holley, and provides students with an opportunity to develop core personal skills such as communication, collaboration and presentation, find the confidence to speak and present to a variety of audiences, work as part of a team to plan, research and present a finished product whilst working to a deadline, as well as, enhancing their digital competency skills in a fun and engaging context, giving them the core skills required in the modern workplace.
