Accessibility Festival 2021

From Monday 17th May for 4 days, the Accessibility Festival will go live, hosted by Aspire 2Be an Apple Professional Learning Provider.

12 EVENTS

Join Guest Speakers, Apple Distinguished Educators, Apple Distinguished Schools, Apple Regional Training Centres and Apple Professional Learning Specialists in 12 online events focusing on the effective use of Apple technology for equity and inclusivity in Education. 

4 DAYS

From Monday 17th to Thursday 20th May #AccessibilityFestival will be live online.

1 KEY FOCUS

Providing equity for all pupils. A variety of events identifying theory, tools and tips around Apple accessibility tools to ensure inclusivity and positive outcomes for every learner.

The Accessibility Festival will explore how Apple technology and in-built accessibility tools can provide equality of access to learning for all. 

Across the 4 days there will be multiple online events aimed at a variety of different audiences, including parents, teaching staff and families. 

There will be numerous opportunities for the Apple Education Community and teachers across the world to engage in a variety of different virtual events across the week.

Keynote Speakers

Graham
Quinn

Chief Executive Officer,
New Bridge MAT & Group

Graham is presently the Chief Executive Officer of the New Bridge MAT and Group based in the north west of England.   Graham is the SSAT’s National SEND ambassador.  He is chair of Special School’s Voice (SSV) and also a member of the National SEND Reference Group. He is a designated National Leader of Education.

Professor Adam Boddison

Chief Executive,
NASEN

Adam is Chief Executive at the National Association for Special Educational Needs and Chair of Whole School SEND. He is a National Leader of Governance and sits on the boards of the Active Learning Trust and the Academies Enterprise Trust.

Margaret Mulholland

SEN And Inclusion Specialist,
ASCL

Margaret Mulholland is a specialist in inclusivity and Special Educational Needs. She is advisor on SEND policy for the Association of School and College Leaders and Whole School SEND Project Director leading an evaluation for the Education Endowment Foundation.
