During the toughest of trading times in recent history, A2B’s staff were certainly not idle. Working through lockdown and on behalf of the World Professional Billiard and Snooker Association, they designed, developed, built, and launched the WPBSA’s first professional players’ app.

Launched in January ‘21, the app acts as the key hub and go-to place for WPBSA’s touring professionals for event and competition information, administrative guidance, protocols and procedures, wellbeing advice and player development opportunities.

Working closely with Neil Tomkins, WPBSA’s Player Relations Manager, A2B have built an intuitive, intelligent, one-stop, user friendly, self-management tool for all WPBSA professionals to use anywhere, 24/7×365 while on their travels competing on the World Snooker Tour.

Commenting from WPBSA’s Bristol HQ, Tomkins said ‘This is a fantastic self-management tool for all of WPBSA’ s professional players competing on the World Snooker Tour. Now, in one place, every player can simply and efficiently organise and manage their playing activities, while we as an organisation can continue to support their needs. I would like to thank Aspire 2Be and their staff for making this project possible. WPBSA provided the guidance and direction and Aspire 2Be developed an excellent resource for our members’.

The app is available for players to download via both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, as well as a progressive web app.
