The Gateway Level 2 Certificate in Digital & IT helps learners build valuable digital and IT skills that can be used immediately in everyday life, education, or the workplace.


Accredited by Gateway Qualifications, the programme provides a recognised qualification at Level 2.

Across 15 credits, you will explore real-world scenarios and complete guided activities that support confident application of new knowledge and skills within digital literacy, communication and security. Learning is supported by tutor guidance and resources, with flexible delivery available to suit your role and schedule.
 
The course will help you to build digital and IT user skills for work and progression, demonstrated through a portfolio of evidence.
 
By the end of the course you will have improved your confidence and be able to demonstrate your progress through an accredited certificate.

15 Credits in total

Mandatory unit – Digital Skills Career Progression

A further 12 credits chosen from a range of opitional units based on areas of interest and/or areas of responsibility.

Assessment is designed to be practical and focused on applying learning in real situations. You will complete guided activities and build evidence of your skills and understanding, supported by tutor feedback throughout. You will develop a portfolio of evidence to showcase your knowledge and competency to obtain certification.
