The Gateway Level 2 Extended Certificate in Digital & IT helps learners build valuable digital and IT skills that can be used immediately in everyday life, education, or the workplace.


Accredited by Gateway Qualifications, the programme provides a focused route to upskilling while still delivering a recognised qualification at Level 2.

Across 30 credits, you will explore real-world scenarios and complete guided activities that support confident application of new knowledge and skills. Learning is supported by tutor guidance and resources, with flexible delivery available to suit your role and schedule. You will build evidence of competence as you progress and reflect on how to embed learning in your organisation.
 
By the end of the course you will have improved your confidence and be able to demonstrate your progress through an accredited certificate. The course will help you to develop a broader range of digital and IT skills across a larger programme, evidenced through a portfolio of work.

30 Credits in Total

Mandatory Unit: Digital Skills Career Progression

A further 27 credits required from a range of digital units alligned to areas of interest and responsibilitiy.

Assessment is designed to be practical and focused on applying learning in real situations. You will complete guided activities and build evidence of your skills and understanding, supported by tutor feedback throughout. You will develop a portfolio of evidence to showcase your knowledge and competency to obtain certification.
