NextGen Digital Pathways

Implementing Generative

Course Information

The Implementing Generative AI (GenAI) in the Workplace short course offers a practical and engaging introduction to implementing GenAI tools in workplace settings.

Designed for teams and individuals exploring digital transformation, the course blends hands on activities, ethical considerations and real-world applications. Delivered by Aspire 2Be, it reflects our digital first approach and our focus on building future ready skills that can be applied straight away.

Generative AI is revolutionising how organisations create, communicate and innovate by introducing powerful digital capabilities. Beyond automating content creation, GenAI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot and DALL·E can streamline workflows, help teams produce tailored written and visual materials quickly, and support smarter, data driven decision making. These AI tools are now appearing across departments, enabling people to work more efficiently, personalise communications and explore new creative possibilities.

This Generative AI short course also serves as a gateway to the Agored Cymru unit Using Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) Tools in the Workplace, enabling participants to progress toward a recognised micro-credential.

By the end of the course, learners will understand what GenAI is, where it can add value, and how to use it responsibly. They will leave with practical prompt techniques, clearer awareness of risks and safeguards, and a stronger sense of how GenAI could impact roles, workflows and organisational culture.
