Learn how to tackle larger datasets and more complex analysis with confidence through this Microsoft Advanced Excel course.


Through this course, you will develop advanced Microsoft Excel skills, giving you the confidence to work with larger datasets and more complex analysis. You will understand how to summarise, model, and interpret data using powerful tools, helping you produce clear insights and support informed decision‑making.

You will practise summarising across multiple worksheets, then compare lookup approaches including 1D, 2D and 3D lookups with XLOOKUP as a modern option. Scenario planning is made practical through Goal Seek, Scenario Manager and Solver so you can test assumptions and choose a direction.
 
We look at advanced filtering to extract exactly what data you need and clarify how Excel Tables support reliable PivotTables. You will also receive an introduction to PivotTables so you are ready to build powerful summaries. The emphasis is on method and clarity so your work remains explainable and easy to adjust.
 
By the end of this Microsoft Excel Advanced training, you will be confident in using Excel to analyse and summarise data with ease.

There is no formal exam for this course. Learning is supported through guided discussion, practical examples and scenario-based activities across the day. Following the course you will receive a certificate of completion to include in your professional development file.
