MICROSOFT BUSINESS SKILLS

Microsoft Word Advanced

Course Information

Move beyond basic editing to create polished, consistent, and professional documents with this advanced Microsoft Word course.

Develop advanced Microsoft Word skills, enabling you to create professional, consistent, and well‑structured documents. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of key tools such as styles, templates, references, and collaboration features, helping you to manage content with confidence and efficiency.

In this online training for Microsoft Word, we cover refining text, paragraph and table formatting, as well as using paragraph styles to maintain a coherent design across sections. You will work with references such as footnotes, endnotes and captions, and generate tables of contents, indexes and cross‑references that update correctly. You will also discover how to work with fields, forms and templates that speed up repeat work and protect layout.

We explore advanced mail merge techniques and collaboration tools for reviewing changes with colleagues. You will also apply document security options and learn how sections, headers, footers and watermarks support structure and brand. The goal is to build repeatable patterns so complex documents remain accurate and easy to maintain.

By the end of this course, you will be able to control long‑form content, keep formatting consistent and collaborate confidently from draft to final version.
