MICROSOFT BUSINESS SKILLS

Microsoft Power BI/Excel Data Analytics

Course Information

Build on your Excel experience and take your first steps toward structured analysis with Power BI and Excel data analytics.

Through this course, you will develop your skills across Power BI, building the confidence to work with data more effectively. You’ll gain a high-level understanding of how to organise, analyse, and visualise information, helping you turn data into clear insights that support better decision-making.

You will learn how to import data from Excel and other sources, understand the layout of the Power BI interface and practise navigating the three core Views. This course focuses on beginner to moderate skills that make a difference fast: shaping data into clean tables, designing visuals that answer a question and building a dashboard in the Power BI service.

Along the way you will explore relationships in your datasets and see how Excel and Power BI complement each other in a daily workflow. The result is a simple, repeatable approach to producing insight that you can build on as your needs grow.
Module 1: From Excel to Power BI
Module 2: The interface and core Views
