MICROSOFT BUSINESS SKILLS

Microsoft Excel Intermediate

Course Information

Strengthen your ability to analyse and present data with this Microsoft Excel Intermediate course.

Through this course, you will build on your existing Microsoft Excel knowledge, developing the confidence to work more effectively with data and formulas. You’ll gain a high-level understanding of how to analyse, refine, and present information clearly, helping you produce reliable insights and structured workbooks.

We start by revisiting formulas with relative, absolute and named references, then use logical functions to perform calculations based on criteria. You will learn how to apply conditional formatting to highlight patterns and use built‑in tools to manipulate text without writing a formula. Dates and times are explained clearly so results are accurate.

In this course, you will learn how to combine functions to match criteria and retrieve information, consolidate data for summaries and use the Analyse Data tool to surface quick insights. Throughout this course, the focus is a tidy workbook that others can follow.

You will leave this Excel Intermediate training with patterns you can reuse to clean data, answer common questions and present results with confidence.
